Ruth Frechman and Adrienne Barbeau |
Adrienne Barbeau has
literally done it all. Stage. Television. Film. Voice-Over. Radio Host.
Best-selling Author. She sings. She dances. Is there anything that she doesn't do?
I could have listened to Adrienne for hours, as she talked
about her life and her love of writing at a recent Independent Writers of
Southern California meeting (IWOSC). She started her career on Broadway with
“Fiddler on the Roof.” Besides being on the TV series “Maude,” Adrienne starred
in “The Fog,” “Escape from New York,” and “Swamp Thing” to name a few. Recently, she was on
“Argo.” Besides her best-selling memoir “There Are Worse Things I Could Do, she
also wrote “Vampyres of Hollywood,” and “Love Bites.” Stay tuned for the
release of her third book.
But did you know?? Adrienne’s favorite food is grapefruit
juice? She could live on it and drinks four cups a day! Health choice! It’s loaded with vitamin C and
potassium. She loves to walk miles and miles down city streets. When she’s on
location for a film, she likes working out on the machines and weights at the hotel gym.
Great way to stay fit and healthy!
It was a pleasure to meet such a beautiful, talented, and
gracious multi-talented star.
I expect Adrienne must have worked pretty hard to keep her amazing figure all those years.
ReplyDeleteEither that, or she is exhibit A for "Life is unfair."
Maybe a little bit of both.
